In 2019, a chance encounter led her to meet a Buddhist teacher—a pivotal moment that ignited her teaching and creative expression and became the unifying force behind all that she shares.Sam embraces the qualities of yin yoga as an all-day-long practice—a way of being that honors receptivity, patience, and the wisdom of ease. She weaves contemplative traditions with somatic awareness, prompting the discovery of all that's available when we release effort and yield to what is. Her teaching invites an artful exploration of the body, breath and mind, and an opportunity to soften beyond even the most stubborn habits of tension.
In her yin yoga classes, Sam creates a container for deep, sustained listening, inviting practitioners to navigate their internal landscapes with utmost curiosity and compassion. Through sustained practice, students discover that yin yoga offers a direct path to liberation—Think: who do you become when you're completely at ease?
